With the pandemic forcing organizations to think differently, technology like artificial intelligence is making huge inroads in the enterprise market.
Not only is AI being used in a remote environment but we will undoubtedly see that many employees will continue to work from home post pandemic. As such, offices will probably be used mainly for important meetings and they will likely be re-configured with social distancing in mind.
This will also mean that elevators will need to be restricted to just 2 people at a time and a contactless, voice operated system, not just in the elevators but throughout the building - on all entrances and exits.
All of this will require AI adoption and it will not happen overnight, as you can imagine, but the result will a network of smart offices - throughout the globe.
Just one way that we can see how AI adoption will be accelerated as a result of the pandemic... and there are many, many more!
The COVID-19 pandemic forced companies around the world to work remotely and change nearly everything about their work habits, and technology companies everywhere stepped up and met that challenge by accelerating what were already emerging technologies. Things like unified communications and collaboration, videoconferencing and cloud computing have skyrocketed since the start of the year, but another technology is becoming a part of our working lives at a rapid pace: artificial intelligence.
