Clubhouse has recently announced a partnership with Stripe that will allow it to roll out Clubhouse Payments.
This feature will allow users to give money directly to speakers, with 100% of the proceeds going to the chosen creator with Clubhouse not taking any commissions. That is at least for now.
This is important as Clubhouse has exploded in popularity this year and this payment feature will allow the consultants, coaches, influencers and entrepreneurs that garner attention to now look at turning their Clubhouse time into money.
Competing services from the likes of Facebook and Twitter will emerge but it seems we're now on the cusp of a new way to monetise knowledge, content and influence.
